oh & dad found out about my tattoo today. which went better than expected.
worse things happen.
ok. so i’m getting surgery on thursday, which entails them putting a titanium plate in my arm, which i dont really like to think about. but i’m becoming more ok with it. i mean, worse things happen. & at least it’s my left arm & not my right. & at least it’s my arm instead of my leg. i also got new pain meds for nausea soo hopefully ill be able to eat food again...
bad news only getting worse...
im trying to have high spirits & remind myself that things could be much worse…but that’s difficult when:
i broke my wrist. not in 1 or even 2 spots, but 3.
im in a ton of pain & my body apparently cant handle vikadin so ive been throwing up & eating crackers & ginger ale. and im kind of toughing out the pain of my wrist on my own. which is awful.

i was pleased with the office this week.
this morning i woke up & my throat hurt in that weird way it does when you feel like you cant swallow. so i stayed in the house all day eating fruits and veggies and drinking oj. i just really dont want to be sick for school next week. but i know i jinxed myself. for the past like 2 weeks ive been super immune girl, bragging about how i havent been sick since the summer. weellll. that was...

but i’m writing lesson plans & drinking green tea & watch all of the live coverage on tv. which is ok too.
i love lazy sundays.
of sitting at the nervous dog, drinking coffee & talking for 3 hours.
& eating pizza and watching the football game with family at night.
even though i could careless about football. it’s nice to just know we’re all together.

soo i survived the day & id probably give it an 8. it went well. as good as the first day of student teaching can go, i suppose. my cooperating teacher is great. he’s really hilarious & laid back, which i love. i had a little panic attack after i was there for like 15 minutes though. i was just sitting by his desk, observing everything i need to know & i smelled something so bad....
